Greeting to you all!

Tuesday class was very relaxing and helped me to find my center. Jody helped me to strech my core and loosen the places that are too tight. I have been having tons of pain in my lower back and shoulders. It has had me at a place where it it nearly impossible to sleep because I get restless due to the discomfort of laying in one position too long. After doing the streched in the class on tuesday, I found mysefl able to lay down in bed and actually fall asleep without a ton of discomfort. Hopefully things continue to improve because I really enjoied being able to lay down comfortably and not have to rool around everywhere trying to find a position that didn’t start to kill me after a few minuits of laying there. The class itself was very laid back and relaxing, sending me into a very calm and stress free mood for the rest of the day; what else could you ask for out of a class?!

Hi again!

Todays yoga class was great! Afterwards I came out feeling like my legs were noodles! Jody did an awesome job of kicking by butt in class today with all the squats and held asana! I feel very relaxed and stretched out, boy am I going to fall asleep easy tonight! Because of the methods Jody taught us on Tuesday (thinking of the pain as a sensation rather than an inconvenience) I had a lot easier of a time holding my positions without feeling like I was going to tremble into a heap on the ground. After this class I am feeling the odd mix of looseness and tightness (the “I just worked out and now my butt feels tight, awesome, and jiggle free.”, kind of tight). I’m so excited for this new style Jody is bringing to us in class these last two times! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us on next Tuesday! I am very much looking forward to whatever it is she is going to throw at us next.

Greetings!
Had a great time on day six! It was a very strenuous class! Jody had us hold asana for longer times and helped us to keep a clear mind while doing so by teaching us to tell ourselves that it is just a sensation not pain. It really did help, kept my mind off of holding the poses so long! It was a very full class, and it was nice to get to meet new people and learn about their styles of yoga and their history with their practice. Everyone was at different levels and Jody adapted the poses in such great ways to fit everyone’s personal needs. It was a whole new experience today, and I loved it! When things are switched up and changed, it creates a whole new atmosphere and I feel like that is important in order to be able to learn new things!

HELLO!

It’s so great to be back! I was feeling rather awful last week due to my minor surgery so unfortunately I was unable to attend any yoga classes. Now that I am back, and feeling super awesome might I just add, I was ecstatic to be able to join in on Jody’s class yet again yesterday. My legs were a little shaky again from the lack of yoga for a week (at least that’s what I’m figuring) but I still managed to balance better than when I first began and hold the poses. I had a blast doing yesterdays class, it was so full of energy from all the people there. It felt like everyone flowed smoothly and melodically together through each pose and breath; it was really neat and I feel like it got all of us enraptured in the asana of the yoga. I hope next class is as meditative as well because I left feeling rejuvenated and like I could conquer anything that wanted to come at me all day long.
